Alhaj Shamsul Alam Foundation began in 2023 at Baliapara, in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj. The late Alhaj Shamsul Alam spent his life quietly helping people in his own area, without publicity. His family formed this foundation to give that habit an institutional shape.
The method is simple. We talk to local teachers, imams and union council members to understand which households genuinely need help, then deliver support against that list. The cost of every programme is published at the end of the year, and anyone may ask questions at the annual general meeting.
To put education and healthcare within reach of low-income families in Sonargaon and nearby areas, so that no child leaves school for want of money and no patient is turned away from treatment.
